More Beautiful Autumn Bundle

I'm back with more of the Beautiful Autumn bundle.  The recipe for these cards comes with the supplies, but unfortunately, not the dimensions.  I'm so curious about the dimensions of the middle card.  There has been a lot on the internet but I haven't taken the time to look into it.   Maybe for my club next month.  It'll give me enough time to find a good recipe.

So, I don't have the directions, here are the supplies that were used.

There is a tip SU! has given us.  "Punch the circle two times, cut in half and adhere behind the white panel to create the scallop."

Now, onto my favorite card of the three.  And I'm not even a huge fan of purple.  I think it's the combination of all the colors that draws my attention.  The Pretty Peacock really stands out over the other colors.  And I do love Pretty Peacock.

And now for the last card.  Oops...I should say the last project.

I personally haven't seen one of these tins, but they are so terribly cute.  My first thought was to put chocolate covered espresso beans in for Black Friday shopping.  But, then again, who knows what is in store for Black Friday this year.

Now, that's a lot of supplies on this post!  I hope nothing was forgotten.  So,  I'm just going to apologize if there is anything missing.  One never knows.

I'll be showing two. more cards later this week.

Just Thinking of You...

I am so glad it rained today instead of this weekend.  I've done Rummage Sales in the rain, and it's not always a fun thing to do.  We still have to take the tents down.  Hopefully, tomorrow will work out for that.

I made this card super quick this afternoon.  The Whisper White is embossed only on the bottom part.  Just don't put the paper all the way in the embossing folder.  Easy peasy.  The Crushed Curry is to hide any imperfections that may otherwise be seen.

The flower is stamped in Misty Moonlight and cut out with the Perennial Flower Punch.  Around it, I stamped just a few leaves in Just Jade.  The flower needed just a little something extra.  Those are stamped directly on the card base.  Before you stamp them, just place the flower on the card so you can see where to stamp them.

To balance the card, stamp the sentiment in the upper right corner, above the Crushed Curry.  It's from the Many Mates Stamp Set.  I used Cinnamon Cider ink pad, the same as the card base.

Featuring Beautiful Autumn Bundle

As you probably all know, I definately don't own every stamp set that is current today.  Much to my dismay.  Wouldn't that be a stamper's dream?  Owning every stamp set in the Occassions and Holiday catalog?  Sigh.

This week I'm going to feature the Beautiful Autumn Bundle.  It comes with a stamp set and a set of 3 leaf punches to create the perfect autumn projects.  It's perfect for saying hello or even just a simple Thank you.

.

Can you just image cards made with the autumn colors with this stamp set?  I'm thinking...Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Bumblebee, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Cinnamon Cider.  These are just to name a few.  The combination, as always, is endless.

Aren't these samples beautiful?  I don't see any autumn colors either.  Just proves this set is not just for seasonal autumn projects, but for many more.  Here are a few more samples.

This week I'll be talking more about these samples and even listing the products SU! used on these projects. Maybe this stamp set and punch pack will be on your Wish List.

Until next time...Stampin' Always,

Coffee Please

Day one of a rummage sale.  The weather was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!  Usually for City Wide Rummage Sale, it's usually cold and rainy.  Tomorrow is supposed to be the same as today!  Yippee!  There was enough people out and about rummage saling today.  I did better than I thought, so hopefully tomorrow will be just as good too.

How fun is this card!  Stacked stone and coffee.  What a combo, but it works!  The paper is the In Good Taste DSP pack.

For the coffee cups, I used quite a few markers.  I was looking for pops of color against the neutrals.  The colors used are: Smoky Slate, Balmy Blue, Bermuda Bay, Poppy Parade, Mint Macaroon, and Night of Navy.  Just about any color would work on this card so let your imagination go wild.

The "Coffee" is actually the heat set white embossing powder.  I wanted it to stand against the contrast of the Night of Navy.

Wouldn't this be a perfect card to include a gift card from a coffee shop?

It's a Tri-Leaf Card

Megan and I have been watching The Amazing Race from the beginning. Currently, I'm on Season 8 and the teams are famiies of 4.  It's been interesting, but I don't know if I like it as much.  I like the families that have children, but the older siblings are way to competitive and argumentative.  Yikes.  Everyone is hyped up more than normal.  For some, it's like having 3 back seat drivers, all screaming at the same time.  It's going to be an interesting season.

This was my club Thank You cards for this month.  It's a simple autumn card that is perfect for a sympathy card.

The DSP is from the Poinsettia Place DSP pack.  It has acorns on.  Would you have guessed it was from a Christmas pack?

The Very Vanilla piece that is adhere to the card base is actually embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.  I think it's my new favorite folder.  It gives subtle texture but definately doesn't take awya from the rest of the card.

Get out the fall colors!  I used Cajun Craze, Old Olive and Bumblebee.  One thing I love about fall is the rich colors.  They are such jewel tones and look fabulous togther.

Triple Wreaths

Chris decided to clean up his work area in the garage.  He threw away three shopping bags full of stuff.  I was so happy he did that.  It didn't help that he wanted me to help, and  I was in a throw away mood.  Today, he kept going and went through more stuff.  Wonder what it will be next weekend.

Most people notice the snowman in the Snow Wonder stamp set.  Understandable because he's adorable.  But, don't over look the other stamps, just like this wreath.

I colored the wreaths using Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive markers.  Simple and sweet.  Just randomly colored the leaves by mixing the colors for texture.  The wreaths are colored with Real Red Stampin' Blends.

The checked DSP is from the 'Tis the Season DSP pack.  Just enough pattern for interest, but not to take away from the wreaths.  Because it's just Real Red and Basic Black, any green color combination for the wreaths would also work.

Look what's going on the sides of the wreaths.  It's the Basic Black Organdy Glittered Ribbon.  Just the perfect amount of glitter any card would need.

The Happy Christmas is embossed with the White Embossing Powder.  I love the embossing stands out against the Basic Black.

Sweet Christmas Tag

Before Megan left for school, we were watching the Amazing Race from the beginning.  It's been an interesting seeing the evolution of the show over the years it has run.  No matter what season it is, the teams still bicker pretty bad.  Some are definately worse than others.    It's still an entertaining show.  Make me want to travel even more.

I made this sweet Christmas tag this afternoon.  You can never have too many gift tags so I figured better start now.  Besides, it's using Christmas stuff, but not a card.

The base of the card is 'Tis the Season DSP and also Very Vanilla.  You will see that in a minute.  It's cut out from the North Pole Wonder dies.  Along with the sleigh, reindeer and boughs.

The sleigh was too plain so I used the water painters with Crumb Cake to color it.  After it was dried, I added Wink of Stella.  You can't see that in this picture.  Sorry.  But, it does look better in person.

Cut some boughs from Garden Green.  Only glue them towards the bottom.  I like them free on the top so the tag has a little dimenson.

Here's the inside.  It's just Very Vanilla with a bough stamped in the inside.  I colored the holly berries with my Real Red marker.  This alone would make a sweet tag.  Then I would have used the Shimmery Crystal Effects on top of the colored berries.

How many gift tags are you going to make?  They would make an awesome Christmas present for someone...especially if they have a birthday that is coming up soon!
