Tap Azure Afternoon ink onto a D block and add a drop of water from your Water Painter.
Draw the ink into the water and brush the watercolor over the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper from side to side. Watercolor with Azure Afternoon to the middle of the water color panel.
Clean the ink and water from the D block and the Water Painter.
Add Crumb Cake ink onto a D block
Repeat the water coloring process using Crumb Cake ink on a D block. Add a drop of water with the water painter and draw the ink into the water.
Water color side to side with the wide Water Painter from the middle of the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper to the bottom.
Once the watercolor paper is completely dry (you can use a heat tool on low to help this process along) use the palette edge of the Take Your Pick tool, or the blade of a pair of Paper Snips, to rough up the edges of the water color paper.
Stamp several grasses in Crumb Cake ink on the bottom of the panel in the sand.
Die cut 2 Mossy Meadow palm leaves and 2 Old Olive palm leaves. Die cut 2 Crumb Cake palm tree trunks.
Assemble the two palm trees with the dark leaves under the lighter. Adhere together with adhesive.
Stamp the life guard station on the Gray Granite cardstock with Tuxedo Black ink and die cut with the Beach Day Dies. Use a Basic Gray watercolor pencil to color the fence and legs of the station. Use a Whisper White watercolor pencil to color around the windows and opening of the station.
Die cut the upper portion of the lifeguard station in Garden Green and trim the flag. Adhere the Garden Green flag over the Gray Granite flag with adhesive.
Arrange the two palm trees on the card front, then place the lifeguard station over the palm tree trunks to confirm placement.
Adhere the palm trees to the front card panel with your adhesive of choice.
Cut Stampin' Dimensionals in half or use mini dimensionals and adhere the lifeguard station on the beach over the palm tree trucks.
On the front card panel, arrange the sentiment in an arch above and to the left of the palm trees. The photopolymer stamp will curve easily.
Pick up the sentiment with a large block, keeping the curve you just made. Stamp the curved sentiment using Azure Afternoon ink.
Once the lifeguard station is adhered, add a line of Crumb Cake ink on the front panel under where each leg and at the end of the staircase as a shadow.
Add three (2 large and 1 small) Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the front of the card.
Add Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of the watercolor paper panel and adhere the panel to the Soft Seafoam Cardbase.
Stamp three gulls in Balmy Blue where the sentiment will be stamped.
Stamp the Beach Day Stamp Set "happy birthday" sentiment over the gulls.
At the bottom of the Basic White sentiment panel, stamp several sand castles using Crumb Cake ink.
Adhere the Basic White sentiment panel to the card base with your adhesive of choice.
Add the sand and shells, grass and sandcastle stamps to a D block. Using Crumb Cake ink, stamp these images on the envelope flap several times, rotating the block before stamping again.
Stamp the sand and shells on the front of the envelope in Crumb Cake ink once. Stamp the standing gull above the shells in Smoky Slate ink.
