Supplies available May 1:
Take to the Sky Suite - 163832 - $74.00
Cutting Instructions:
Basic White
8-1/2" x 11" for stamped background cut to (4) 4-1/2" x 5-1/2" panels after stamping
4" x 5-1/4" inside sentiment
scraps for stamping and die cut plane and banner
Boho Blue
5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored at 4-1/4" for card base
Basic Gray
Scrap for die cut banner holder
Take to the Skies DSP
7/8" x 2-5/8" - cut one piece each of 2 tag designs and the reverse side of the DSP.
4" x 1/2" for inside panel decoration.
2-1/4" x 6" for envelope flap
Window Sheet
2-5/8" w x 2-7/8 h
Using the three clouds, stamp your own background using Boho Blue (large cloud), Night of Navy (medium cloud) and Smoky Slate (small cloud) ink.
Stamp the riveted metal work in Smoky Slate ink if desired.
Remember when stamping your own background to turn the stamp or paper and stamp off the edge of the paper for variety.
Cut the Basic White background page into four sections of 5-1/2" x 4-1/4", then cut one section into 5-1/4" x 4" for the front card panel. Save the others with your DSP for another card or project.
Stamp the medium size plane on Basic White card stock with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
Color the plane with Copper Clay (light and dark), Smoky Slate (light) and Basic Black (light) Stampin' Blends.
Die Cut the medium plane with the Adventurous Sky dies and the mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.
Stamp the sentiment in Night of Navy on Basic White cardstock. Die cut with the banner die and the mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.
Adhere the 7/8" DSP pieces to the window sheet using Stampin' Seal. Liquid glue isn't great here as it is a little to slippery in my opinion.
Adhere the floating DSP strips to the front of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Adhere a double stack of Stampin' Dimensionals to the front of the plane and the back of the banner.
Apply adhesive to the center section between the dimensionals.
Adhere to the plane and banner to the front of the card over the floating DSP panel.
Adhere three Industrial Trinkets to the front of the card with adhesive.
Adhere the 1/2" x 4" DSP strip to the right side of the inside panel with adhesive.
Stamp the sentiment with Night of Navy ink in the top center of the sentiment panel.
The medium plane is left facing, but you'll note that my plance on the sentiment panel is right facing. To do this, I stamped the medium plane on a silicone mat in Boho Blue. I then brought the silicone craft mat to the card and pressed the image onto the cardstock.
Adhere the inside panel to the cardbase with adhesive.
Adhere the Take to the Skies designer series paper to the envelope flap with adhesive then trim with paper snips.
Stamp the smallest plane on the front of the envelope in Boho Blue.
