Watercolor the World

The other day, I was wishing for rain.  I got my wish!  Last night it stormed and boy, did it rain.  It was a good soaker rain so I figure there's no watering for at least today, maybe tomorrow too.

When I saw the Beautiful World stamp set with the globe dies, I knew I just had to have it.  We love to travel so it was an easy decision for me.  I don't think it would be on the top of my club people's wish list.  But that's ok.  They are always fun to use stamps that they would not normally purchase.  It's good for the variety of life.

The dsp is the World of Good.  I chose one that doesn't have any brass in it because I knew the worlds would be cut out from the brass foil sheets.  The worlds would stand out more this way.

I wanted to play with the new Water Painters. There is one with a large brush head that I was excited to use.  You could definately paint larger areas faster with that one.  So, I used Just Jade and Misty Moonlight and colored on Shimmery White.  I wanted to have some darker lines in them.  You can see that on the sentiment.

Pop that front globe up with dimensionals.  That's a must!   The other globe is adhere right to the card base.

The sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso, the same as the card base.  Not one that I typically use, but the DSP lights up the rest of the card.

What part of the world would you chose to visit?  I'll go just about anywhere, but Greece has always been on my list.  One day.

Until next time...Stampin' Always,
