Tropical Oasis in Grapefruit Grove
Today felt a little off for me. I was actually OFF today! The first time in 12 days. By 10:00 I was ready to take a nap. I didn't, but it was super tempting, and I'm not one to take naps! I got a few things done, but pretty much relaxed, and went into my stamp room. It was hard getting motivated, but a few cards got done.
Here's one.
Don't you. just want to go where there are tropical flowers and those adirondack chairs? Sign me up!
I was challenged to use Tropical Oasis DSP, the burlap ribbon and sequins to create a card. Love the DSP, but unfortunately, I don't own the coordinating stamp set. Improvise.
The chair just fit so well with the floral paper. Just Breathe is so very appropriate during this time of quarantine. I couldn't resist putting the two together.
Would you have put those colors together? I struggled a bit, to come up with ones I thought worked good together, but I like the results. The Grapefruit Grove is one color that will be retiring in June. If it's a favorite of yours, grab it before it sells out. The retiring colors selll out pretty quickly this time of the year.
I'm not sure how much I will be able to blog again this week. Supposedly, I'll have Friday off, but who knows what will happen. The online orders are supposed to increase in numbers, so I may be working long days again to get things done.
