Tropical Oasis Cars
It's another day in Paradise! Or maybe not. It was definately not, especially at work. The cooler where we store our refrigerated items at work went out. So, for now, we have to store items in the produce cooler, which isn't super close to the on-line orders are kept. As if I don't walk enough in a day, let's add even more. The tech said it might not be until the end of the week. I almost cried.
Sometimes I love a card that doesn't require too much stamping.
Here the vintage cars are the spotlight. Aren't they just awesome? I wish I could ride in one of them today. And to be around palm trees, Yes Please!
The base is Pretty Peacock with a strip of Real Red. Against the green of the DSP, I'm loving the colors. Definately something that's not expected all the time.
The burlap ribbon is tied in the middle with Linen Thread. I just wrapped it around several times and tied it with a knot. On the ends, I frayed the ribbon by using my fingers and paper snips. Adhere it with glue dots.
The "Enjoy Today" is from Good Morning Magnolia stamp set. Simple and sweet. If you have a father's day sentiment, this would also make a great Father's Day card. Masculine cards can be harder to make. The cars made this one easy.
