Timeless Tulips

Alyssa and I spent the afternoon in Madison going to several antique stores.  It was just a way of getting out of the house and hopefully not spending a lot.  We did good in the spending.  Even finding something for Chris.  I'm waiting for the Vintage Shop Hop the first weekend in March.  Have you heard of it?  There are over 400 stores, antique, boutique, consignment, around Wisconsin and Illinois that have special deals, sales, and all kinds of fun for this weekend.  Or it might be over 500 stores.  Let's just say it's a lot.  Just Google Vintage Shop Hop. They have a Google map so you can see where all the stores are located.

I borrowed the Timeless Tulips stamp set and punch from a friend and made good use of it.  I stamped and punched a whole of of stuff and my club people could use whatever they wanted by using this card as a template.

All the flowers, stems and leaves are adhered to the circle.  I was able to use one stem, cut in half, for both flowers.  For the leaves, it's actually just one.  I added it to left flower and cut off the end to go around the circle. Then, add the cut off part to the other flower.  It worked perfectly.

It's hard to tell, but the Basic Black is embossed using the Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder.  Otherwise, it was just too plain for my taste.

The sentiment is actually from the Sending You Thoughts Stamp Set.  It's FREE in the SAB catalog with a $50 order.  The Timeless Tulips stamp set does have some sentiments included, and I did stamp some of those.  But, when making this cad, I completely forgot about them!  Oops.  No harm done.  It was good to use this stamp set anyway.
