Starry Sky Sympathy Card
One of my club members requested that I make a sympathy card. No problem.
I believe they really like what I came up with. Just because it's a sympathy card, doesn't mean it has to be bland.
Out came the Nature's Print stamp set. It's practically perfect for any occasion. The sentiment was a little more difficult. I didn't have any current stamp sets that contained a sympathy sentiment, so I grabbed the Special Moments set. It was from a past SAB. I'm so very glad that I didn't get rid of it!
The fern leaf was stamped and cut out with the coordinating die. But the fern wasn't enough. The other two sprigs are cut out from the Night of Navy cardstock. It was exactly the nice accent to go with the fern.
I believe this was the first time I used the Fern 3D embossing folder. That's a shame on my part. It makes a gorgeous background. I'll make sure to use it again soon.
The inside was kept super simple. No sentiment because I wanted to leave room for a personal note.
