Pressing On
Megan is finally back at school. She was ready to go back. Her car was packed full. There wasn't much room for too many more things. We were surprised it all fit. And that was with making two trips up already! We are thankful she only has 3 classes, two are virtual and one is hybrid. So, she barely has to go on campus. The girls are betting to see when it all goes virtual. One has 2 weeks, the other has 3. Megan is off-campus for the first time. Yay! I think it's a little less risky. Besides, she is super careful where and what she does lately.
Gotta love any stamp set that includes coffee. Therefore, gotta love Press On.
I went outside my box on the colors for this one. It's not that I don't like Bermuda Bay or Mango Melody, I just don't use them often. Maybe because they are strong colors and can be overwhelming to use. Anyway, I do like them and decided to use them.
The coffee cup and lid are colored with using Stampin' Blends. Don't forget to use Memento when stamping the image and then using the Blends. The regular Basic Black doesn't work well with the Blends.
The heart is stamped in Poppy Parade. It's also colored with the Wink of Stella.
Look at how perfectly the oval is with the stamped images, especially with the top rays. I wish I could say it was planned, but unfortunately it wasn't. Just a happy coincidence you could say.
