Nature's Root Gable Boxes

It was a Monday today.  I had a customer today yell and curse at me because I couldn't do what she wanted me to do.  Seriously, is that really necessary?  I'm just doing my job.  Enough said.

I made these boxes for my club ladies.  We take the summer off, so I always like to have a little treat for them on our first month back.  I hope it shows how much I love and appreciate them all.

The paper on the background is the only thing that is different on each box.  Had to make them a little different, but yet similar to make it easy for me since I did these at the last minute.  Nothing like planning ahead.

The tree stump is stamped in Soft Suede.  Unfortunately, it doesn't have a framelit to match, so I had to cut it out by hand.  Now, you can't complain about the fussy cutting.  It's the easiest piece to hand cut.

The tree and leaf are all attached to the tree stump.  It's easier to look at placement that way.  The entire thing was then attached to the gable box with Tear and Tape.  For the ribbon, I used Tranquil Tide Finely Woven ribbon and unfortunately it's now retired.  Burlap ribbon could easily be substituted instead.

Here are a closer up of the individual boxes.

I am very happy how they turned out except for one thing.  The next day, I remembered that I completely forgot to add the Leaves Trinkets.  It would have been a nice touch to add by the ribbon.  I hate it when that happens.

For the inside, I mixed M&Ms and candy corn in a treat bag and tied it with the Tranquil Tide ribbon.
