Mixing patterns of Tiding of Christmas DSP

Chicago Fire had just started at 8:00 and Megan got a call from work.  She had to hop online and help with something.  Thank goodness for DVR.  At least tomorrow, or later tonight, we can just fast forward through the commercials.  Of course, it happens during our favorite Chicago show.  Fire is the best.

How do you feel aobut mixing patterns?  Sometimes, it can be fabulous.  Take a look.

The DSP is Tiding of Christmas pack.  It has a bunch of subtle patterns and colors.  It's my favorite of the current Christmas papers.

I specifically chose two patterns that are completely different, stripes and trees.  Two stripes might not look good together.  It also helped that the two patterns had exactly the same colors - Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen.

The tree is from Whimsical Trees stamp set.  It goes well enough with the DSP I chose.  It's also colored with the Wink of Stella.  I couldn't resist that.

The card was very mono chromatic with the subtle greens.  I couldn't resist a pop of color with the Metallic Ribbon.  The Cherry Cobbler was just what I was looking for.

Don't forget the inside!  Mine is simple, but connects back to the front with the colors and the trees.
