Merry Snowflakes

It was a girls' day in Milwaukee today.  Went looking at apartments, lunch at Glorioso's Italian Market followed by some Italian shopping, and then a trip to Ikea.  It was a long, exhausting day, but a fun one.  Alyssa even took the day off from work and came too.  These days are coming less and less frequent, so I'll take them any time I can get.

Do you want to know my favorite part about this card?  Look at the Misty Moonlight on the right side. It's a row of stitched snowflakes! Love it!  They are all on a single die from the Stitched Snowflakes dies.

The large snowflakes is actually a pearly iridescent snowflake from the Wonderful Snowflakes.  They are pre-cut so all you have to do is punch them out, carefully.  Unfortunately, they aren't adhesive so I just used a dab of the Liquid Multipurpose glue right in the middle.

The background Basic White is colored using the Blending Brushes.  I used Highland Heather, Balmy Blue and Misty Moonlight.   Blend them together as much as you like.  Make sure after you ink the brushes, do a quick brush on scrap paper so you don't get the initial brush line on your paper.  This works every time and I don't get the ungodly line.

The other two snowflakes I cut out using the Stitched Snowflakes dies and vellum.  These are going to be so fun to use this season!
