Happy Birthday to You Fun Fold Card

It was a great way to start the month of March.  It was in the 50s and sunny.  Perfect day to go for a walk outside.  Wish I had time for one.  Maybe tomorrow.  Since it was so nice, it was time to grill outside for dinner.  The first burgers of the year.  I also planned ahead for leftovers later this week.  Yum.

I planned on this card for club last month.  Time got away from us so we weren't able to make this card.  They now know one card they will be doing this month.

Looks can be deceiving on this one.  The Whisper White is actually part of the inside.  Don't believe me?  Take a peek.

Now you can see it.  I cut off some of the front.  I actually cut 1 3/4 from the top, leaving 2 1/2 on the bottom.  My card had a little line that was part of the fold and I didn't like it.  So, I used the paper snips to trim up the center fold line.

This is what the actual inside looks like.

Take a close up of the cake and flowers.  My stitched rectangle lined up pefectly with the bottom of the Best Dressed DSP and the top of the Whisper White.  I suggest completing the front of the card.  When adhering the Whisper White, use the Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  You have a few second to manipulate the Whisper White to line up with the rectangle.  A few seconds is all you need and as much as I love Tear & Tape, it has absolute no wiggle room.

Best Dressed DSP is what is used on the front of the card.  The flowers match close enough to the flowers on the cake.  Most people won't even notice the slight difference.

The inside of the flowers are the Champagne Rhinestones.  Love them!!  I had to use them to match the Metallic Edged Ribbon.  Those two items I had to match.
