Daisy Birthday Card

Happy Sunday Eve.

I actually feel like I accomplished a few things today.  For seveal weeks I've been wanting to rearrange things in my kitchen.  I finally got to it this afternoon.  Now it feels like I have a little more room to work with but my husband will forever be asking where things are.  Also, I was putting things away in my stamp room.  It's a disaster as always.  But I cleared off my table somewhat.  Now I have a larger area to work on again.  Also, got some cards packaged so I can bring them to the coffee store to sell.  Oh, I also have my spaghetti sauce ready so tomorrow morning, all I have to put it on the slow cooker and dinner is done!

My friend and I share a birthday, so this is the card I made for her.  Got out the Delightful Daisy Suite and got to work.  Thought for a Spring birthday, this was a good choice.

The daisy coloring was an idea I got off Pinterest.  Once these were stamped, I used the Stampin' Blender Pens and colored the petals.  It really gave the daisies more interest than being plain.  Because I did it right after I stamped, the colors blended very well.  If they don't, you can always use the stamp pads to get the same look.

The center is enhanced with the Gold Faceted Gems.  Love how they give dimension to the daisy.  I chose the gold to bring out the Daffodil Delight.  They also come in clear.  The Glitter Enamel Dots is just an added detail.  I have them to use up so why not?  They match the card very well.

Don't forget that SAB is coming to an end this Saturday.  This is the last chance you will have to get stamp sets, framelits and accessories FREE.  You can always stock up on basic supplies, such as Whisper White Cardstock, or envelopes, if there are items you are interested in.  There are no limits to the number of SAB items you can order too.

Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

As always, click on the above picture for dimensions and instructions.

Until next time...Stampin' Always,
