Copper and Plaid Christmas

The house is all quiet again.  Megan left yesterday for school and Alyssa went back today, after I took her out for breakfast.  It's hard to say no to that.  We are supposed to get some snow tomorrow.  Isn't that depressing?  It's only October!

I found  some time to get in my stamp room and create this card.  I dug out the Merry Christmas to All Stamp Set and Merry Christmas dies from last year.  Last year they were a favorite of mine and they still are.

The trees from Perfectly Plaid are stamped in Night of Navy.  I needed a pop of color different from the Cherry Cobbler. My second choice was Pretty Peacock.  That would have been a little unexpected choice of color.

One part of the card that bothers me are the dots from the die on "Merry".  I even had the die upside down in my die cut machine.  I heard if you layer a fabric softer sheet in between that will help my bothersome issue.  But, of course, I didn't have any so this is what I get.
