Color Combination Challenge

It's official.

BAKING SEASON HAS STARTED!

Megan and I officially started on Sunday.  Cut outs and Peppermint Tarts are baked, and waiting for frosting.  Gingersnaps and Toffee Bites are completely done.  It's a good feeling having some done, with plenty more ahead.  The girls both have Friday off from work.  So, guess what we are doing??  My list for Friday will be long.  I don't always get help, so I'm taking advantage of them.  And they know it too.

The color challenge last month was So Saffron, Cajun Craze and Pear Pizzazz.   This was a trickier combination to work with.  I was kind of glad to have more of a challenge like this one.  Looking at them side by side, they are good Autumn colors.

I paried it with the Measure of Love stamp set.  With the hub bub of  Thanksgiving and Christmas, it was pushed to the back of my stamp sets and nearly forgotten.

At the time, I didn't have the heart to fussy cut anything out.  Call me lazy.  We all get that way at times.  Unfortumately, this set doesn't come with dies or a punch.  boo hoo.  The only piece on this card that is popped up is the sentiment.

One of my favorite embossing folders is the Tasteful Textile folder.  I use it often enough.  Could you tell it's my favorite?  Because it's non-descript, it's perfect for just about any card.
