Coffee Treats
It's the weekend! I was so glad not having to step a foot outside today. With it being cold again, I knew I wasn't missing anything. I have to work tomorrow, which . means Chris is making dinner!
When I was going through . my pictures, it came to my attention I never posted these qute little coffee treats I made for my coffee friends.
You can see on the left, the inside was the Starbuck's Peppermint Mocha coffee. During the holidays, I found these in the grocery store, along with a Pumpkin Spice one. When I saw them, I knew immediately this was going to be my gifts for my coffee friends. How perfect, right?
The holders are 6 x 6 pieces of cardstock. Roll into a tube and adhere on the side with Tear & Tape. I couldn't recommend Snail, because I don't think it would hold very good. Also use Tear & Tape along the bottom. Your tube is now set, ready for you decorate.
For the top, I used the retired slot punch. It's been retired for several years, but one that I couldn't get rid of. You can also use a circle punch if you don't have anything else. Weave the ribbon through the two slots and push it into the cube with the coffee. Tie in a bow.
I've also seen the same idea used with chocolate bars. Super easy and fun to decoarate. My coffee friends really liked these. And, as you noticed, I couldn't make them all the same. That's just too easy.
