Splendid Day with Blends

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

1. Dimensions:
   Soft Sea Foam 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at half
   Splendid Day DSP 3 1/4 x 4 3/4
   Basic White 3 x 4 1/4 (Front), 3 1/4 x 1 1/4 (Label)
   and 4 x 5 1/4 (Inside)

2. Find the front Basic White piece. Color one half of the paper with the light Pool Party Blend. Color the bottom half with the light Fresh Freesia. Now color over half the the light Pool Party with the dark Pool Party. Do the same with the dark Fresh Freesia.

3. Using the Pool Party and Fresh Freesia ink pads, stamp several random bees around. Avoid stamping around the middle where the sentiment will be placed.

4. Stamp the sentiment in Fresh Freesia on the Basic White label piece.

5. With Paper Snips, cut the banner ends of the sentiment. Also, on the colored front piece, run the paper snips edge around all four sides to get a distressed look.

6. Adhere the DSP and front Basic White piece to the card front. Off set the DSP piece but the Basic White is centered on the front.

7. Cut out two stems in Soft Sea Foam.

8. Cut about 8-9 inches of the Soft Sea Foam ribbon. Fold on just one side and adhere to the middle of the Basic White. Add the sentiment, using mini dimensionals on the top and bottom ends.

9. With Multipurpose liquid glue, add the two stem pieces. Tuck them under the sentiment, but leave one leaf above for more dimension.

10. Add some random pearls around the front. Adhere the ramaining inside piece of Basic White.
