Using up DSP Scraps

No work for me today.  It was all play!

My friend came with me into Milwaukee.  We went to my Italian grocery store.  Sue has never been there and she now realizes why we love that store.  The dining area was finally open, so we have fabulous calazones for lunch.  We shopped in the store after lunch and then went to the Italian bakery. Cookies and cannoli's. You can't go wrong with either one.   Alyssa has no idea I went in today.  We are going to see her tomorrow and will surprise her with her favorites.  I can't wait to see her face.

Last month for club, we made this card.  It used the Tidings of Christmas DSP.  The rectangle pieces left a lot of scrap pieces.  There was too many to just throw away too.

I made them work in a card instead.

If you received this card, would you think the card design was based around scraps?  I wouldn't.

I matted all the scraps on Evening Evergreen so it gives the scraps a purpose.  Wrapping the gold shimmer ribbon around the scraps also helps.  Just because I'm using scraps doesn't mean I can't bling the card up!

The sentiment is adhered by using dimensionals.  Make it stand out!  And bling it out!

Finally, here's the inside of my card.
