Strawberries on the Diagonal

We are supposed to be in for some storms tonight.  Maybe up to 80 mph winds.  Yikes.  In anticipation, we brought in what we could and made sure all my flowers are on the ground, not on any tables.  We could use some rain, but that's a lot of wind.  Guess we will see tonight what happens.

This is one of the three cards we did in July Club.  It's another fun fold card.  I've seen many of this kind online, but thought I couldn't get two cards from one sheet of cardstock.  Pleased to say, I was wrong!

Isn't this super cute?  The hardest part of the card is cutting the card base.  My paper trimmer isn't long enough to cut the cardstock on the diagonal.  I brought out the yard stick, sharp edge and cutting mat and did it the old fashioned way.

Once it's cut, just fold in the angles until they touch.  That's it for the card base.  I didn't score mine.  You might want to try that.

The DSP on the front is pretty much the same thing.   It's the normal size, 4 x 5 1/4, but also cut on the diagonal.  This size should fit in your paper trimmer.  Yay!  Must make note which way the diagonal on the card base is going.  You want to cut the DSP on the same diagonal.

That's it for the card.  Now wasn't that easy?  My club people were happy to make this one.  Bonus, they all love the Sweet strawberry stamp set!
