Springtime Tulips

I will admit, this past week actually went by pretty fast.  We had to move Megan out of her dorm on Friday.  That was a bittersweet day.  Alyssa was actually working a lot. After not being busy, that was a relief to her.  Chris worked from home all week and will continue to this coming week.  I have a feeling it will continue for a few more weeks.  As for me, I also continue to work.  Being at a grocery store, I don't think it will be closing.  The operating hours have been shortened, but we have been very busy.

We are getting by and hope you are too.

It's time for some springtime tulips.

I love this stamp set.  And it comes with a punch!  I LOVE punches.  So super easy to use.

The tulips, stems and leaves have been stamped for a while, just waiting to be used.  The card was designed around the square-ish embossed piece of Mint Macaron.  I found it amongst my scraps and thought I just HAD to use it.

It's offset by the rectangle piece of Whisper White.  They are adhered toward the opposite ends of the card to balance it out.

Sorry to say, the tulip builder punch only punches out the large tulip and leaf/petal.  The smaller tulips, leaf and stems are cut out by hand.  At least they weren't too detailed so they were easy to cut out.

Stay safe out there.
