Miss You Kangaroo
If you follow me, can you guess who I made this card for? Yes, for Alyssa in Germany. It was her Good Luck on exams and come home soon card.
How can you not love the kangaroo and koala bear from the Animal Outing stamp set? I thought it was very appropriate since I just want to keep her in a pouch and not travelling all over Europe. But, she is now home! She has slowly adjusted back to home life and is back at work.
Don't worry about any kind of fussy cutting with this set. You can get the Animal Friends thinlits and cut them out within seconds.
Back to the card. It was great using the Blenders again! I used the Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate and Old Olive Blenders. When I use the Blenders, I color in small areas. The colors blender a bit better when they are still fresh. I used my Olive Green Blender and did a shade of green under the kangaroo. It's so subtle that you might not notice it right away.

By the way, Alyssa loved the card.
Blogging the next two days might be a tricky for me. My in-laws are moving Wednesday and I will be busy getting things to help them out. I already can't wait for Thursday to come and have it over with.
