Measure of Love stamp set

Happy July 5th.  We didn't have to work today.  Well, not in the sense of actually "going to work."  I spent the day cleaning and then getting ready for my club tomorrow night.  We had to move it up a week since I'm leaving for vacation next week.  Tomorrow, I still have to make a peach cobbler for dessert.  Yummmmm.

For a little while, I've been trying to come up with a card using the Measure of Love stamp set.  I was super happy with the way this card turned out.

The scale is stamped directly on the Basic White rectangle.  The cupcakes, though, are stamped on a separate piece and cut out as a whole unit.  I did just a rough cut with my paper snips.  I didn't want perfect.  They are also colored with the Wink of Stella and popped up with dimensionals.

To me, these colors are so retro, and I LOVE them!  They remind me of the colors from the 50's and 60's.  It was fun playing with a little unusual color pallet, but not too unusual.  The old time scale matched the color pallet.

I couldn't resist doing a row of cupcakes on the inside of the card.  This make me hungry for some cupcakes!
