Masculine Thank You Card

It's another hot and humid day summer.   This is the worst part of summer.  My husbands loves it and is infact outside tearing off our deck to build another one.  Good for him because I'm staying in the air-conditioning as much as possible.

I made this Thank You card for our head manager when the store closed.  Several people had nominated me to make a card for the two managers.  I couldn't say no.

The DSP is the Come Sail Away DSP pack.  It's not just for sailing.  I chose two prints that were neutral in print and it works out great.  The two pieces are matted in Balmy Blue.  Definately stands out against the Night of Navy.

Being it was going to a male, I couldn't do the normal bling up, but it needed something.  I wrapped silver thread around the saying pieces and it was exactly what the card needed.  Some detail, but no bling.  Don't forget to use dimensionals on this piece!

I felt the Night of Navy cardstock was just a little too bland.  I took the dot stamp from the Waterfront stamp set and Night of Navy ink pad and stamped some of the dots on the cardfront.  It's a subtle detail, but I didn't want to take away from the rest of the card either.

There is another Thank You card I'll show next time.  Same stamp set, but definately feminine.

Until next time...Stampin' Always,
