Masculine Birthday Card

Today I went outside just two times.  One to walk to the store for a few things for dinner and two, water my flower pots.  It was so nice not leaving the house.  But just because I didn't leave, doesn't mean I did nothing.  My house was in desperate need of cleaning.  Feels great having it done.  Probably won't last very long.

This is the only card I made this week.  It's great for a masculine birthday card and I don't usually make too many of those.

The stamp set is Rooted in Nature along with the Nature's Roots framelits.  Perfect for any masculine card.  I am so glad this stamp set has the framelits.  I would never fussy cut this tree!  My hand hurts just thinking about it.  Gotta love those framelits and punches.

I chose just a small sentiment from the Sunshine Sayings stamp set.  You could put just about any saying on a card of this style.

For the tree, I actually used my markers.  But if you don't have them, you can easily use the ink pads.  Have the stamp on the block so you can see it and gently dab the ink on the stamp.  This tree is easy to do it on because it's the trunk and leaves.  They don't overlap at all.
