Many Blessings

I can't believe the weather around here lately.  Up to Wednesday is was only in the 70s, but very humid.  It was so bad my husband, who doesn't mind heat and humidity, didn't want to do anything outside.  Now today, Friday, it's so cool we almost have to get the jeans and sweaters out.  Typical Wisconsin weather.  Always skips the nice 70s temps with the sunshine.  That's my kind of weather.

This card was made with the Many Blessings photopolymer stamp set.  I love the fact it has several images/sentiments so it can be used more than just once a year.

Did you also know it was designed by a demonstrator that had one million in sales?  Isn't that incredible?  I can't fathom that at all.

I choose sunflowers because they always cheer people up.  Time to get out the watercolor pencils and blender pens.  The image is stamped in Early Espresso ink pad, but make sure you let it dry before using the blender pens.  My colors blended a little with the Early Espresso, but fortunately for me, I liked it.  Under the flower pot, I even did a little Early Espresso watercolor pencil for a touch of shading.

It's hard to see, but the Many Blessings is stamped using VersaMark and then heat embossed with the Copper embossing powder.  I added it onto a small piece of the Copper Foil sheets.  I haven't used the embossing powder in quite a while, so I broke down and bought some with my last order.  I know people in my club will love using it again.

After the card was put together, I noticed the woodgrain embossing folder was retired.  For some reason, I can't get that in my head!  Probably because I like it so much.  Anyway, another great alternative would be to use a piece from the Wood Textures DSP pack.  You can see what that looks like by clicking here.

Don't forget about the inside.  I just added a sentiment and sprinkled some sunflowers around for fun.
