In the Country Textured Card

Today was a cleaning day for me.  I got through the bathroom, kitchen and vacuuming the house.  It felt good to get all of it done.  Then, I spent time in my stamp room putting together some of the old cards that weren't made from club.  Again, it felt good cleaning it all up.  Tomorrow  my goal is to clean, dust and vacuum my stamp room.  That will be an all day job, but very necessary and over due.

I couldn't wait to use the In the Country stamp set.  It's in the SAB catalog and only available until the end of February.  Grab it while it's still here!

If you like coloring,  you will love this card.  It did take a while to color.  Definitely not a card I would do at my club.  Both sets of watercolor pencils was used, along with the blender pen.  Basically, I colored one color at a time.  And don't forget to clean the blender pen after every color!

There is a lot of texture with this card.

  • Embossing folder on the card front
  • Calypso Coral wrinkled
  • Ripped and distressed ink on the edges - My favorite

I'm excited to experiment more with this stamp set.  I've seen another card that I'm going to possible do for club.  But I can't let you know that too soon.  It needs to be a surprise for them!
