Fun Pocket Card using Brew Some Fun

The days sometimes don't have enough time in them.  I'm trying to get things done, and I swear my list doesn't get any shorter.  How does that happen?  That never happens to you does it?

We had club last week. It ended up being a fun fold club.  All the cards had a unique fold to them.  Don't think they are harder than regular cards because they are not!!!  This card just has an extra fold and tear & tape than regular.

I challenged myself to use the Brew Some Fun stamp set.  Since I don't have the coffee cups, I went another way and use the sentiment and flowers.  The flowers are stamped in Sahara Sand and colored using the Watercolor Pencils, #2 and blender pens.  The piece that has the sentiment is actually in a pocket.

The patterned paper is from the Subtles DSP Collection.  I was over due to use Coastal Cabana again.  This patterned paper is perfect because the pattern is so neutral and doesn't take away from the rest of the card.  In the pack, you get several 6x6 sheets of the same color, in several sheets using four different patterns.

Now, you can see the close up.  Pull up on the Basic White to reveal the rest of the card.  There's plenty of room to write a note in.

The base of the card has another fold at the 1 1/4 mark.  That creates the flap.  I've done other cards using the same technique.  But this one, on the inside, I used Tear & Tape to make the pocket.  Keep the adhesive very close to the outer edges to guarantee there is room for the inside Basic White.

I'm always afraid the regular adhesive won't stick enough.  That's why I chose the Tear & Tape.  Now I know the card won't fall apart when it is mailed!
