Fun Folding with Good Morning Magnolia

Fun fold cards are always fun to make.  People think they are harder to make, but in reality they really aren't.  Here is one I made for my swaps a few weeks ago.

It's a pretty basic fun fold, but still was fun to make.

I cut 1 1/2 inches off the card front and added another flap on the right side.  The second piece was 4 x 4 in size, and scored at 1.  I adhered it to the back side with Tear & Tape.  I didn't trust the regular SNAIL to hold it in place.

One good thing about this card, was that I was able to use two different patterns from the Magnolia Lane DSP.  It adds more dimension to the card.

The flower is colored by using Petal Pink ink pad and a sponge dauber.  I usually start in the middle making circles and gradually sweeping the color towards the outside of the petals.  I used to love the regular sponges, but I am getting used to these daubers and are starting to like them more.
