The business is yours to do whatever you would like to do.  You can grow the business by holding clubs, both on-line or local, blogging, or anything else you can think of.  Or, if you just want to join for the benefits and discounts, that is absolutely fine.  We call those people Hobbiests.  They meet the minimum requirements themselves, or even have a few friends help out with that, but don't actively try to build the business or recruit.  I know several people who are just hobbiests and they love it.  And we love them!
