Delicate Dahlia with fall colors

We are getting ready for another round of storms tonight.  No rain in what seems like forever, and now this is the third storm of the week?  I've lost track.  There was a tornado earlier today in Wisconsin, but not around us.  As I'm typing this, I can see the clouds moving pretty quickly so hopefully it won't amount to anything.

This color challenge was a bit of a challenge. But, it was perfect fall colors.  I had to think about it for a few minutes and then it came to me.

Delicate Dahlia stamp set from the SAB catalog!  Perfect!  Being in the SAB catalog, it's FREE with a $50 order.  Great deal.

The main dahlia was white heat embossing on Rich Razzleberry cardstock.  Unfortunately, it was fussy cut out, but wasn't too hard.  Glad I only had to cut one!  It makes you appreciate punches and dies.

The smaller flowers are Calypso Coral and Mango Melody.  My ink pads were pretty juicy, so I stamped off first.  I just randomly stamped them on the left side of the card.

I don't normally stamp a sentiment directly onto the card, but I did this time!  I was lucky, it stamped perfectly.  Wahoo!  Usually, the last thing I put on my card, is what will go wrong.  I did make sure there were no ink spots around the edges of the actual stamp so I wouldn't get that darn edge mark.
