Daisy and the Embossing Paste

Is anyone watching the Oscars?  All I'm interested in is the Best Actor/Actress and Film.  I did like the beginning when Queen performed.  In a fluke, I turned it back on just in time to see Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga sing Shallow.  That was terriffic.  The best part is going to watch the score rating of the red carpet dresses.

I've had this embossing paste for at least 6 months now and have never used it.  For some reason, it seemed intimidating to me.  Crazy right?  Now, I will be the first to say...what was I thinking???  It was really fun and easy to play with. Even addicting.   My club people loved making this card.

The craziest thing I used to make this card was a Stamparatus magnetic sheet and its magnets.  I lined the mask with my Crumb Cake and used the magnets to keep the mask from moving.  If you don't have the Stamparatus, use the Big Shot magnetic platform and magnets.  I liked this because after I added the embossing paste, I could easily life up an edge to see if any part needed to be touched up.  It worked really good.

I love this brick mask.  But, I can't wait to play with the medallian next.  There are two methods I want to play with.  One is coloring the paste with the re-inkers.  Another is using embossing paste.  Both sound very intriguing and I think the medallian will look super cool using either method.  I'll make sure to share the results.
