Dainty Flowers Bling

This weekend I'm doing a local crafting weekend.  It's right in town so I'm not even spending the night.  I was trying to think about what to work on.  My color sampler key ring is ready to put together.  I was thinking about doing some scrapbooking.  Problem is, I haven't worked on it in years, it's hard to know where to start again.  The supplies are scattered all over my stamp room.  Good thing I'm not going until Friday.

Have you checked out the Dainty Flowers DSP?  It's in the SAB catalog.  And it's FREE with a $50 purchase.  But it's only available until the end of February.

All the images on this paper are part of the paper!  The only stamping I did was the sentiment.  There are times I do love these kind of simple stamping cards.

Instead, I did bling it up a bit.  Look at the Dragonfly trinket!  It really sparkles.  I added some rhinestones directly beneath the sentiment.  I also colored all the flowers with the Wink of Stella.  In person, you really can see the sparkle.

I've also seen other cards with the same DSP.  People are using the blending brushes and Old Olive ink pad and coloring the bottom around the stems.  I completely should have done it but forgot.  My loss.  Should have check Pinterest first!

The inside was kept super simple. I just used a scrap piece of paper along the bottom.  Simple but effective.  I don't like naked insides.

Until next time...Stampin' Always,
