Create with Butterflies

Happy 4th of July! - Covenant Care

I hope everyone had a happy but safe 4th of July!  We didn't have much plans for today.  Chris, Megan and I ended up going on a 3 mile walk this morning.  Felt good to get out and so very glad we did it before it got super hot.  Alyssa stopped by mostly because she wanted to grab some fresh peaches and my homemade peach cobbler.  Since we ate dinner while she was here, that was a bonus.  She will almost never say no to food.

We made this card at our June club and don't have an excuse for not posting it sooner.  Luckily, all the products haven't retired.

The butterfly stamp set is pretty obvious...it's the Butterfly Brillance set.  Easy to stamp the butterflies since they are on one large stamp!  They are stamped in Crumb Cake.  There is a layer of vellum over them.  If they don't look super clear, that's why.  It's not you!

I had to add a pop of color on top  with the single butterfly cut from Misty Moonlight.  I love how how really stands out on the card.  He's adhered with just some mini dimensionals in the middle.  The wings are completely free.

Some of my people decided not to add the "you" to their card.  Sometimes "Celebrate" is all you need on a card.  We did have to add the pearls just for a little more detail.

Vellum can be a little bit tricky to adhere.  I used the Fine Tip Glue.  Concentrate using the glue where the "Celebrate" is.  I also added little dots around the butterflies where there was a lot of Crumb Cake ink.  If you draw a line with the glue, you will see it.  Stick to areas that already have ink on them.  And also spread it out if you can.  You can also hide a few dots under the Misty Moonlight butterfly.

The Create with Friends stamp set has a lot of the larger size words.  Amazing, Create, Love, Friends and Celebrate.  What would you use on this card?
