Color Challenge #2

The color challenge this month was to use Black and White with a pop of color.  Sounds easy doesn't it?  In reality, it was rather tricky.  Choosing just one pop of color?  Remember how many colors SU! has to choose from?  Color challenges are actually easier when told which colors to use.

The pop of color I choose was Bermuda Bay.

I chose Bermuda Bay because I haven't used it in quite a while.  That's a good excuse in my eyes.

Don't forget to use the adhesive sheets when cutting out the stems.  Just adhere a large strip on the back of the Basic Black.  I like having the ends come up for a little dimension.  Also, saves some adhesive sheets.

There are only two pieces that are adhered with dimensionals.  The 8 leaf sprig and the sentiment.  That was enough for me.  I thought about using the brushes on the background or even Wink of Stella on the leaves, but sometimes it best to keep it simple.
