Clean and Simple Christmas Tree

It felt so good to have off today.  I spent the day in my stamp room getting ready for club tomorrow night!  They will be making a card using the Pretty Pumpkins stamp set, along with 2-3 Christmas cards.  I say 2-3 cards because it depends upon how fast the cards go and how much chit chatting they do.

Isn't this just a simple and sweet card?

I was extremely torn - Shaded Spruce with the red rhinestones or stick with Real Red for the entire card.

You can see what I ended up going with.  I was loving the pop of color the Red Rhinestones gave against Shaded Spruce.

The background is colored using the Blending Brushes.  Don't forget to do a quick dab on scrap paper before you color on the Basic White.  You want to avoid those initial brush lines on the card.

If you are looking to make a lot of cards, this would be the perfect one!  And it could be done in any color you want!  Basic pearls and rhinestones could be added  if there aren't any embellishments in the color you chose.  My first thought went to Misty Moonlight and rhinestones.
