Banner and Holly Christmas Card
Finally...a day without rain and there is sunshine!! It felt so good to see the sun again. Chris did end up. mowing today. He tried his best to talk himself out of it. In the end, the lawn got mowed and it's done with.
I know, you are thinking another Joyful Holly card. It's my new favorite Christmas stamp set so I can't help myself! I'm hoping you will soon love it as much as I do.
This time, I didn't use the entire holly image. There wasn't an oval that was large enough for the holly AND have a a larger one for a mat. You really can't tell the some of the holly was cut off.
Look at the pattern of the Real Red paper. It has images of holly leaves on it! It's like the paper was made for the stamp set!! That is one detail SU! is fabulous about. The matching and coordinating are carefully planned, so we get the most for our money.
You can't tell, but the Whisper White banner is embossed with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder. It was way too white and plain for my liking. This embossing folder gave it the subtle texture I was looking for.
Don't forget the detail of the holly berries. I dug out the Shimmery Crystal Effects again. It's all those little details that make a card fabulous.
