An Adventure with Reflected in Nature

We made this card last month for Club.  My people are happy to use this stamp set because most of them overlooked it in the Mini Catalog. That's the one great part of club. I may use stamp sets that they wouldn't necessarily purchase themselves.

For this card, I tried something new.  If you look closely, you can tell the cabin is darker in color than the reflection in the water.  Ink the stamp and with a facial tissue, wipe some of the ink off the reflection.  Basically, it's giving the stamped off look in one simple step.  Even with the Stamparatus, there is a slight chance the paper might shift a little.  I eliminated that chance.  On this card, I did a quick wipe over the ink.

I had a add another little touch of Misty Moonlight.  That's why the bird is in the upper corner.  No dies for it so it was cut out by hand.  At least it's a small bird.

The twine is from the Flowers for Every Season Combo Pack.  The Misty Moonlight was perfect for this card.  If you don't have this pack, one from the Baker's Twine Essential Pack would also be fabulous.  It can be found in the Mini Catalog.

Have a fabulous weekend!
